I am Jack Foreman,
and I work from the suburban edge of Northampton, in the Nene Valley: providing classical and contemporary picture framing, decorative wood-turning and selective photographic services.
I work on occasions with galleries, dealers, and individual artists, but primarily work for private clients and local customers throughout Northamptonshire.
I will always strive to offer a professional and considered service, giving you the peace of mind that your artistic property, in whatever form, is in safe hands. I trust that I can provide the answers to your framing and turning expectations, within the budget or design parameters that you suggest.
For your artwork: Classically traditional, or a contemporary art display form. Whether your requirement is an ultra modern mount for your canvas in a stylish frame, or a fine hardwood hand finished conservative frame. A traditional or decorative mount within a reproduction swept frame. Perhaps, a treasured family period photograph, in a stylish oval mount. Or an item of memorabilia, in whatever form.
I am confident that I am able to rise to almost any challenge and, in fact, relish the opportunity to work on demanding projects – to increase my abilities in every aspect of the craft. However, each business and individual has their limitations and should I not feel confident of being able to deliver the product and service which you will expect, I am sure I will be able to suggest those whom I can recommend to you. Please feel free to contact me regarding your decorative wood-turning or framing requirements. If I can provide the service that you require and expect, I will gladly do so.
I intend to gradually add to the content on this website to hopefully provide a useful resource for information on good framing practices, with links to websites, relevant and associated articles on framing, hand-finishing, restoration, old and antique frames and various methods. And a similarly useful resource for information on good wood-turning practices, tips and methods.
Each Heading (Framing ~ Turning ~ Photography etc) has a drop-down menu for easy access to components of that particular Heading. However, if you double-click the Heading you will open a subject description which contains, what I trust will provide, a significant amount of useful information whilst navigating and using the site. Followed by links to each of the respective Heading components in the drop-down menu.
If, as a visitor, whether frequent or casual, you have any suggestions which you feel would improve the navigation processes, or simply make life easier for yourself, or anyone else with interests compatible with the site, please do Email me at: jackforeman@turnaroundartwork.co.uk
Your views/observations/suggestions, whether implemented or not, will be considered with respect and appreciation.
