Turning

I was first introduced to the very basics of wood-turning, initially as a young boy, having just started work; when my primary job was to sweep-up, make the tea, and go to the shops for the men working on the joinery benches.  The wood machinist took pity upon me and introduced me to the old treadle-lathe in the corner of the machine shop, which was only seldom used.       My next contact with a wood lathe (electrically powered) was when I went to Coventry Technical College (tech) on a day-release + two evenings a week  programme, as part of my five year apprenticeship.     And during my entire working life, I have never lost my interest with, and pleasure derived from, wood-turning. I find it immensely satisfying.

So, please select an item from the sub-menu, or one of the links below, to see examples of my work.  When you ‘left-click’ on an image it should increase in size (how much, depends upon your server)   I will rotate the display of my work available to view or purchase, on a fairly regular basis, so if you don’t find what you’re looking for immediately, either come back at a future date, or contact me for a mailshot of all of my work stock.                Please note that the P&P charges are applicable to mainland GB & NI. For delivery to other locations please contact me for an estimate of charges.
